Stress on right ambience for differently abled pupils


It is essential to provide differently-abled students adequate occupational and career development skills by providing the right kind of learning environment, said Krishna Chandra, Deputy Director of Employment, Union Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Mr.Chandra was speaking here on Wednesday at the inauguration of a month long summer training programme on ‘Computer applications and essential tools for visually challenged school students' organised by the Resource Centre for Disability Service of Loyola College.

He said that efforts must be made to tap into the vast array of productivity tools available to train differently-abled students. “Providing training specifically suited to the requirements of the job market is essential for such students.”.........Click for more
