AID supports Immediate Relief


Torrential rain during the month of June has left 5000 people homeless in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Nine villages on Nirmalchar have been completely flooded by the Padma River (sometimes known as Ganga) and about 15000 people have been critically affected. Nature took away the most from the ones who have the least – homes, utensils, clothes, grain stocks were destroyed and fields submerged.
