4 new sea snakes found in Chennai


They may be one of the most beautiful marine animals with colourful bands and patterned bodies but sea snakes are not spotted easily.
But a team of young researchers from the National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) has recently documented the presence of four more species along the Indian coast, taking the total to 26.
