New website links armchair do-gooders to Indian NGOs

Two Chennaiites have set up an online portal Doing Good Fellows to connect the sociallymindedwithsocialcauses.

Revathy Muralidharan, an advocate in Madras high court, and Sajid Shariff, an engineer who recently moved to Chicago, got the portal up and running about a year ago. The two of them cameup withtheidea after Shariff wanted to do volunteer workfor Indian NGOsbutfound ithardtolinkup with non-profit organisationshere.
