Condition of toilets in Indian Railways are not up to the international standards and also not very clean and user friendly. But things will chance soon and stinking toilets be a thing of past. Indian railways will get transformed given the touch and feel program ordered by the Railway Ministry.

Very soon we are going to get a modern and customer focused clean environment while traveling. Railway's go green program is also very eco friendly and can help solve the environmental problems also.

If everything goes well and according to the plans of the Railway minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav, within three years over 40,000 passenger trains would have green eco-friendly toilets.

Indian railways already tried out a successful pilot project on green toilets on the Prayagraj Express that carries maximum number of passengers. It is now almost certain to install the green toilets in the strong 40,000 fleet of trains on entire indian railways network........Click for more
