Kids no longer have friends, only competitors in schools'


With the State police suspecting suicide in the recent case of a nine-year old, who fell to her death from her school building, misgivings about the country’s education system and the lack of awareness of early signs of depression in a child have again surfaced.

According to the police, preliminary investigation revealed that the parents of the children had been asked to collect the report cards of their children the following day. “If a child is afraid of progress reports, what does it say about the curriculum?
