CHENNAI: The two-day national conference on ‘Frontier Avenues in Chemistry and Environment’ ended on a grand note at the Dwarka Auditorium in DG Vaishnav College on Thursday. The conference was organised as part of the college’s Golden Jubilee celebration,
“The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers, academicians and scientists to discuss and share the knowledge and ideas in various fields of Chemistry for the benefit of the student community and chemistry fraternity. I thank the department of Chemistry for successfully organising the maiden conference,” said Dr T Vedagiriswara Rao, convenor and head of the Chemistry Department, while addressing the gathering at the valedictory function.
