Gurgaon e-waste likely to grow 300% by 2020


Wall E, the animated feature proved a step ahead of its time predicting the Earth dressed in nothing but e-waste. In Gurgaon, the situation is similar where the production of e-waste is likely to increase by over 300% by 2020. However, some of the companies based in the city envisage a lucrative business potential in e-waste management and are picking up on the cause.

Speaking on the new-found business potential, Nokia's director, corporate communications, Poonam Kaul said, "We have tied-up with international recyclers. Nokia works only with approved recyclers who meet our strict requirements and are authorised, safe recyclers.".............Read More
